About The Organ

The heart is a triangular-shaped muscle positioned in the middle of the chest behind the sternum (breast bone) and between the lungs. It contains four hollow chambers which receive and pump about five quarts of blood every minute at the phenomenal speed of 70 mph. During exercise or extreme stress, the heart is capable of pumping blood up to speeds of 110 mph. Its primary purpose is to make oxygen-rich blood available to all the cells of the body by forcing it through thousands of miles of blood vessels.

Psychological Characteristics

The heart represents joy and love of oneself.

The Giver enjoys doing things for others. A simple thank you or a kind word of appreciation confirms that they are doing something right. It can be quite difficult saying no to people and often feel it’s an obligation to say yes. This can lead to overextending themselves.

Eventually, they realize that they are giving more than they are receiving, which leads to feeling taken advantage of.
